Learn To Sell On Ebay Using Keywords

So often people that want to learn to sell on ebay overlook the importance of using keywords in your items title and description.

How do most people find the items they are looking for on ebay? Simple answer, they use the sites search engine. They simply type in a keyword and a list of items pop up matching that keyword.

To make your item pop up consider what to put in your title carefully and then make sure a keyword you think people may type is present in the title.

For example if someone that was looking to buy a seven seater car but didn't know much about cars so didn't know the names of them they would type something like "7 seater car" in the search engine. Now you may be selling a seven seater car but unless it is in your title it won't show.

Here's another example. Say a mother wants to buy her kid a video games console but she's forgot what it's called then the chances are she will opt for "video console","games machine" or similar and hope the name rings a bell. If all you have in your title is xbox 360 then even if it's what she's looking for your item isn't going to appear.

These are very basic examples but you should now get the picture. If you want to learn to sell on ebay then you need to learn to put keywords in your titles and if you can in the description too.

One final word on the use of keywords is to make sure that you double check your title for spellings as just one wrong letter could cost you a sale ( unless it is a word people often spell incorrectly in which case it can be a blessing ). Hopefully you will use this advice and learn to sell on ebay using keywords.
